A team from Birch Green Care Home Skelmersdale, joined 3,000 people at the Croxteth Memory Walk last week to raise vital funds for research against dementia.
The walk was hosted by Nicole Barber-Lane, better known as Myra McQueen from Hollyoaks, and attended by a range of public figures.
The kind-hearted team of nine started the sponsored walk at 11am and walked 7.5km, reaching the finish line with just enough time before the rain started.
Walking amongst the sea of blue t-shirts were Angie, Gill, Ali, Jamie, Sian, Jennie and her daughter Becky.
The group put in so much effort on the day for a charity which is close to everyone’s hearts throughout Birch Green – We are all really proud of you, well done to you all.
