A recent visit saw residents from Riversway Nursing Home in Bristol enjoy a trip to Conham River Park.
Known as one of the most scenic walks in Bristol, they spent time meeting people from their local community and taking in the sights along the riverside.
They even collected souvenirs of their trip to add to the ‘adventure stick’ that they had made previously, and picked garlic leaves before heading back to the camp fire to make some garlic pesto.
The pesto was very tasty and was sampled on oat cakes with a hot drink. It was a lovely morning with great weather and great company.
