Caring Hero going the extra mile

Congratulations to Billi-Jo who was recently nominated for a Caring Hero award.

Several members of the staff team at Riversway Nursing Home, Bristol put her name forward for the award as her fantastic attitude shines through to all.

Billi-Jo hasn’t been with us for too long, but she positively promotes that it’s highly important to spend quality time with every one of our residents.

Billi-Jo works within the domestic team and she constantly goes above and beyond to show her natural ability to care whilst going about her day to day duties.

Jan Wilkins, Operations Director at Riversway, said: “We are extremely pleased that Bill-Jo is incorporating our values within her role.

“Billi-Jo goes the extra mile and when she’s returning the residents’ washing, she listens and supports the people that she is returning items to, actively putting an individual’s needs first.

“We are pleased to see that our core values are being implemented across the care home, so we would like to say a huge well done to Billi-Jo.”

The Caring Hero award is usually a monthly award, but this was the second time that a member of staff received one this month at Riversway.

Keep going team Riversway!
