Carole is a ‘Caring Hero’

Carole Bennett, a registered general nurse at Springhill Care Home has been named a ‘Caring Hero’ by the management team.

The nomination comes after Carole displayed compassion and devotion to a young resident while providing specialist palliative care.

Working tirelessly and volunteering her time to ensure the process was as comfortable as possible, Carole provided outstanding care in a time when it was needed the most.

Throughout her time with Springhill, Carole has gone above and beyond, and this nomination is to thank her for her remarkable work at the home.

Congratulations Carole, you are a Caring Hero.

Pat is a true ‘Caring Hero’

Riversway resident Patricia has been named a Caring Hero for her helpful approach around the home.

Pat came to live at Riversway in November 2017 and she often talks fondly about having a large ‘busy’ family whilst growing up, with many brothers and sisters which led her to become a naturally caring and compassionate person.

After years of caring for her children, grandchildren and others, Pat now passes on her caring approach to others at Riversway and can always be found lending an ear to someone or looking out for the wellbeing of others.

Pat was nominated by quite a few of our Riversway team, and we all feel that she sets an excellent example to everyone at our home, showing them how to be kind and take care of each other.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Pat for everything she does – she is a genuine ‘Caring Hero’.
