Our Staff
Springhill Care Home invests heavily in its staff, individually and as teams. This continues to be recognised officially through the achievement of the prestigious ‘Investor In People’ award.
We firmly believe that staff training is the key to successfully delivering a quality care service. The fact that 90 per cent of our staff hold or are working towards a minimum of NVQ level 2, demonstrates proof of that commitment.
More informally, staff are frequently complimented by residents, relatives, health and social care professionals, for always going that 'extra mile.'
Regularly inspected and regulated by CSCI ( whose reports are available for inspection ), Springhill Care Home consistently exceeds national standards for staff and training.
Fourteen fully registered nursing staff (RGNs) are employed under the direction of Matron, Cathy Dunn RGN who has 27 years' professional nursing experience in the public and private sectors.
