Springhill Care Home, Accrington.
Standing in its own grounds surrounded by the beautiful Lancashire countryside, Springhill Care Home provides luxury ensuite accommodation for 75 residents.
Dedicated, highly skilled staff provide a wide range of person centred services including:
- specialist rehabilitation following a stay in hospital
- respite care
- nursing care
- care for people with dementia
- end of life care
- day care
We are proud to say our home was the first in East Lancashire to be awarded the Investor in People status in 1995.
Our philosophy is that whatever their age, our residents should enjoy today and tomorrow as much as yesterday and our holistic, person centred care is geared towards that.
Encouraged to make the most of their talents, our residents have regular opportunities to take part in a number of social and educational activities which include computer, art and exercise classes, bingo and concerts.
Since originally opening in Accrington in 1983, our reputation for providing quality, innovative care has gone from strength to strength.
In May 2000 we became only the second nursing home in the entire country to be awarded five star status by the Residential and Domiciliary Board for "exceptional standards."
Easily accessible from Accrington town centre, Springhill Care Home is on a main bus route and residents have the benefit of a wheelchair accessible mini bus for regular social outings.
