Dancing the day away

A recent event brought families together at Sefton Park for a tea dance with a difference.

Supporting families plays an important part in the role of all Springhill Care Group’s homes, and Birch Green recently held a tea dance at the spectacular Palm House in the Grade II listed Sefton Park.

Resident Lillian Ford danced with her daughter, Joanne; and Jim Dearan – a former dance teacher – with his keyworker Linda Lowday.

Karen House, activities coordinator, said: “Supporting families plays an important part in supporting our residents. Being able to go on trips to create new memories and reminisce about times past is just one of the ways that we support meaningful activity."
