Straight From the Heart...

Below are extracts taken from some of the many letters and cards regularly received at Birch Green Care Home. 

I don’t know were to start, how to begin to begin to thank you all for all the love & support and care you gave Beaty and to ourselves. Thank you for her beautiful flowers on Wednesday, that was lovely of you. I’m glad some of you could make it that was nice for her, it meant a lot to me & W. I have enclosed a copy of the tribute that the vicar read out for me for you to have a read of. It was a difficult thing to put together, how can you do someone’s life justice in 5 minutes? You all do such an important job and people don’t or can’t tell you how much you are appreciated enough. Thank you for taking good care of out mum Dorothy Martin, and making her time here enjoyable, we all appreciate the love and care you provided her, and we won’t forget all you did for her. We will miss you all love from DM’s Family

One year on Sunday since Enid passed away, and I am taking this opportunity of expressing my sincere gratitude for the way you made my wife’s last years as happy as possible. You were all so kind, and you will always be in my thoughts. God bless you all. B

My heartfelt thanks to you all, for making Christmas so enjoyable for our sister V, and the rest of the residents and Birch Green. V has told us what a lovely time she had also how the staff made the day so special for everyone, the icing on the cake appears to be the thoughtful gift everyone received from Santa Claus.
