Our Staff
Birch Green Care Home invests heavily in its staff, both individually and as teams. This continues to be recognised officially through the achievement of the prestigious ‘Investor In People’ award.
We firmly believe that staff training is the key to successfully delivering a quality care service. The fact that 90 per cent of our staff hold or are working towards a minimum of NVQ level 2, demonstrates proof of that commitment.
More informally, staff are frequently complimented by the people we support, relatives, health and social care professionals, for always going that 'extra mile.'
Regularly inspected and regulated by CQC (whose reports are available for inspection), Birch Green Care Home consistently exceeds national standards for staff and training.
All nursing and care staff are supported by teams of, caterers, administrators, maintenance and housekeepers.
The Chefs are responsible for providing delicious, nutritious meals. Only the best, freshest ingredients are delivered daily to our doors by carefully selected local suppliers. People we support are encouraged to tell us about food preferences and invite their friends and family to join them for special meals and parties.
